Questions, Answered
Everything people ask before they book — and if yours isn’t here, call us.
The program
What does the full-service program include?
Everything: a custom design for your home, commercial-grade lights, professional installation, maintenance all season (if a bulb goes out, we come fix it), takedown in January, and storage until next year. You never touch a ladder.
Do I own the lights?
It’s a full-service holiday lighting program — we supply, install, maintain, store, and refresh the lights year over year. You get a perfect display every season without ever owning the hassle: no boxes in the attic, no tangled strands, no dead bulbs to hunt down.
What happens if a bulb goes out mid-season?
We fix it — that’s part of the program. Maintenance visits are included all season, so your display looks opening-night perfect from install to takedown.
When do you install and take down?
Installs run October through early December — early birds get first pick of dates (and early-bird pricing through September 15). Takedown happens in January, and the lights are gone and stored by February.
Do I need to be home during installation?
No. Once your design is approved, our crew handles the install without you needing to be there — we just confirm access to exterior power. You come home to it done.
What kind of lights do you use?
Professional-grade commercial C9 LED bulbs, hand-placed — not retail strands. They’re brighter, tougher, serviceable bulb-by-bulb, and built to hold through coastal Georgia weather.
Pricing & booking
How much does it cost?
Programs start at $1,500 and depend on your roofline and design. Use the instant estimate above for a range for homes like yours, then book a free design consultation for an exact quote.
Is the design consultation really free?
Completely free, no obligation. We come out, design your display, and give you an exact price. If you love it, we get you on the install calendar.
When should I book?
Early fall. We install a limited number of homes each season, installs run October through early December, and early birds get first pick of dates — plus early-bird pricing through September 15.
Smart Color & permanent lighting
Does Smart Color sync to music or flash?
No — and that’s deliberate. Smart Color is the same system as our permanent lighting, installed for the season: 16 million colors, hundreds of presets and effects (including tasteful movement), scheduling — all from an app. It’s designed to make your home look stunning, not turn it into a spectacle.
Can you see the lights during the day?
Barely — and that’s the point. The system mounts in a low-profile track tucked under your roofline trim, color-matched to the house. In daylight it reads as part of the trim. At night, it’s whatever show you’ve picked.
Can I start with seasonal lights and upgrade later?
Yes — that’s our favorite path. Start with Smart Color this season: it’s the exact same system, professionally installed for the holidays through our full-service program. If you love it, any season we’ll make it permanent — and what you’ve already invested comes off the price.
What happens if a light fails?
We service what we install. If an LED or a section ever misbehaves, call us and we come fix it — the same maintenance promise our seasonal customers get, on a system built to make failures rare in the first place.
Is there a warranty?
Yes — the system carries a manufacturer warranty, and our installation is backed by the Froggy Guarantee: we’re not done until you are. We’ll walk you through the exact warranty terms at your design consultation.
What are the power requirements?
The system runs on low-voltage LED power from a small controller, typically tied into an existing exterior outlet or circuit. It sips power compared to old-style string lights, and the app can schedule it so it’s only on when you want it on.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day — design consultation first, then one scheduled install visit including app setup and a walkthrough before we leave.
Service area & who we serve
What areas do you serve?
Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, Rincon, and the surrounding coastal Georgia area, plus Bluffton and the South Carolina Lowcountry.
Do you light businesses and commercial properties?
Yes — storefronts, restaurants, churches, offices, hotels, communities, and more. We offer seasonal holiday installs and Always On, our year-round commercial lighting program with an annual service plan. See the Commercial page for details.
Are you insured?
Fully insured, and our crews are uniformed and trained for roof work. Nobody in your family gets on a ladder — that’s the whole point.
Still deciding?
The consultation is free and the design is yours to say no to.
